Title: Secreting Organs - Pancreas
Post by: Lola on January 11, 2017, 07:40:17 PM
Lucy doesn't like pancreas. I have several pounds of mixed up ground turkey, bone, and pancreas.

There is always one...   Silly7

As much as I DETEST Purina... Fortiflora worked when I transitioned the cats to canned and then later to raw.  Soooooo, I put a pinch on some raw that had pancreas as one of the organ meats.  Lucy promptly brought everything back up.

I wonder if Fortiflora isn't such a good idea, if a cat 's body is no longer used to processed food and the nasty ingredients.   :-\

Could be.  Or it could be she can't tolerate pancreas, and that's why she won't eat it.

I still use forti flora.  Rarely, but I keep it in my arsenal, because sometimes it's the last resort.

If her own pancreas works well, then the digestive enzymes in pancreas might be too much for her stomach.
