Ohso
« on: December 31, 2011, 09:53:47 PM »
Ohso was put down today, she was struggling very hard to breath, and it was obvious that she was suffering badly.  I couldn't let her keep struggling like that - it got so much worse so fast, there was no saving her with how bad she was.  The kindest thing to do for her was to help her to the bridge where she can now breath freely and act like the kitten she never got to be.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. The little baby, she fought so hard. Thanks to you she knew what it was like to be loved.  You did that for her. She's in good company at the Bridge.

I love this song, though every time I listen to it, I cry.  It doesn't help that the first time I heard it on the radio, was a few hours after one of the girls in my sisters class, was killed in a car accident on the way to school.  Then right after I found out the my aunt had died from cancer.  I hadn't heard it again for several months, until the ride home after having Milo put to sleep...a lot of memories in that song!

Thanks everyone, it is never easy to lose a cat :(  I'm glad that Ohso at least got a chance - way to many cats don't get that.  Somehow I have a feeling that she is going to send another cat/kitten to me that needs help.  It always seem to work that way around here.

Ohhhhh I love that song!!!!  I had it play at my best friend's funeral.  It is sad, but also lovely.
