Generators aren't any good either unless they're installed properly by an electrician. If you ever decide you want one, ask an electrician first about how large you need to stay warm at least.

Husband thought about doing it, then he decided he didn't want all the work that would go with installing it. And suggesting to anyone in the electrical field that a contractor be hired just doesn't go over well. So, the RV and its propane it is.

For ME... possible power outages or tummy upsets aren't enough reasons for me to keep feeding canned foods.  Besides, my Roxy no longer barfs on an all raw diet.  I don't want to have to start giving her Pepcid again, so she can eat canned food...just in case.
I'm all about raw now... no turning back!

As you guys know I am in Canada and thought Rad cat was unattainable here. Well I found some today, but the price..wow!!! for a small 8oz tub was $8.49  Is that an insane price or what??!! :O

That's about par in the US I think.. But isn't there a different exchange rate, which might make it higher in Canada?

I am paying $14.95 (USD) for the 24 oz. How much would that be in CN?

I just checked Onlynaturalpet.com. an 8 oz container is 7.99 USD

MC with the exchange rate that would be just over $20 in canada, plus we have to pay two taxes on top of the listed price (about 12% more) lol!
