I looked this thread up rather than go digging through the journals to see if my memory was correct. Yes, the same thing has happened this year, except more than a month earlier.
Yesterday morning, before her breakfast, Queen Eva hurled up a bunch of little fur logs, plus some of her food from the night before. Two tiny pieces of raw meat, and a shred of Cornish hen cooked.
Then, last night, right before supper Jennie did the same thing. She had twice as many fur logs, or rather, just as many, but twice the size, as Queen Eva, but also, oddly, a piece of fat or skin, which must have been from her lunch meal.
I'll increase their EYL to daily for a while to help them over the hump. Or maybe Ill just try the daily egg yolk with them as I am doing with Mazy cat. The beginning of the season always seems worse, for these two, than later in the spring.
They are both 100% raw fed now, for almost a year. (since right after I started this thread, for Queen Eva, last summer for Jennie).
