Starbucks--It's What's for Dinner
« on: August 08, 2013, 06:46:37 PM »
Technically this is considered breakfast, but they'll make one for me at any time of the day & I wanted one yesterday; couldn't stop in the rain; decided today I'd make some for dinner since I was still wanting one. http://www.examiner.com/article/starbucks-spinach-feta-wrap-recipe

Starbucks Spinach Feta Wrap Recipe

This is one of my favorite breakfast items. The Starbucks Spinach Feta Wrap is not only delicious, it is pretty much guilt free compared to all of the other pastries. But what if you’re on a tight budget and can’t really indulge in this Starbucks delicacy? You make it at home!

Here is the recipe and cooking instructions for the Starbucks Spinach Feta Wrap:

Ingredients:
- Large handful of spinach
-Whole-wheat tortilla
- ¼ cup egg whites
-Sun-dried tomatoes (however many you will enjoy)
-1 tablespoon feta cheese

Instructions:
-Preheat a pan on medium and wilted a large handful of spinach

-Put in the sun-dried tomatoes once the spinach is almost done wilting

-Add the egg whites and a few minutes later

-Then add the feta cheese.

-Once the omelet forms spray the whole-wheat tortilla with olive oil spray

-Put it face down in the pan and put the eggs on top

-Then fold the tortilla in the pan in wrap/burrito type form

(Wait until the tortilla gets crispy and flip back and forth to gain the ultimate crispiness for full Starbucks effect)

Now you will never have to miss out on spinach feta wrap goodness! Happy eating!
