Johnny Maestro
« on: April 06, 2013, 03:54:39 PM »
If y'all want a real treat, here's a concert Johnny Maestro & the Brooklyn Bridge gave in NJ back in 2004.  Note the standard suits, even in the summer with the audience in beach chairs!

Growing up, never realised that the same singer was the lead in sooo many favorite songs for both The Crests and (later in his career) The Brooklyn Bridge!!

Born John Mastrangelo in Brooklyn, one of the most wonderful talents to ever grace music.

Enjoy!!

Thank YOU!

I do NOT see how so many of them are just sitting still there! I'd HAVE to grab hubs and get up and dance!!!

Should have included *Tear Jerker Alert*  -- they close with "You'll Never Walk Alone"  :'( :'( :'(

Tops even Perry Como's version, IMO   DrLisaPiersonWorthy

Gotta admit, I only would have danced while they were performing other artists' songs  :-[ Bumpurr1  )  :D  Tend to just sit  in awe & mouth the lyrics along with talents in their league ....

Know it's hard to choose, but anyone have favorites?

Tough enough trying to pick 10 between both of his groups -- for now, here are just two, with The Brooklyn Bridge.
