Aren't Nylabones technically chew toys... that too many dogs actually digest?

Some are chew toys, and others are actual long-lasting treats.

The puppy kits that are being recalled have a softer, before-teething bone; a harder after-teething bone; and a Healthy Edibles bone that's intended to last a longer time.

Vlad and Barkly only have the rock-hard Nylabones that aren't edible, and don't break--even for Vlad's size. You have to make sure that you're buying for the right size when you purchase them.

V&B have this kind:  http://www.nylabone.com/product-finder/my-pet-is/dog-large/big-chews-for-big-dogs-beef-bone.htm  If you look over in the left-sidebar you can choose things for size. I don't like the edibles because they're too easy for Vlad to bite off and swallow larger parts. We all already know that chunks of things can block other things.
