Thank you, Pookie! I think I'll make this a recurring PSA in Twitter!!!

I like her.  She often makes it VERY clear... the veterinarian world isn't all people THINK it is.

Well this series caught the eye of one of the "gathering" sites!

It was posted this morning in: http://paper.li/nika7k/1290345971

That's some more people that will see it!!!

I can understand the relativity there... but I will say that when I was doing research on raw feeding for cats, it was cumbersome to weed through all the raw food for humans websites.

Unfortunately, many of them promote vegan/vegetarian diets, and that often spills into their view that pets can eat a vegan/vegetarian diet as well.  It's a weird dichotomy.

Luckily with those 2 videos, it's impossible to believe that she means to feed your pets a vegan diet. Throwing it in the vegans' faces doesn't hurt my feelings at all.

Whenever you want to clean out the results you are searching for try using quotations and + symbols such as:

"raw diets for cats"

or

raw+diets+for+cats

or even:

"raw+diets+for+cats"

Gives much more specific results.

Yes, Dee Dee... I did eventually figure out how to be more specific in my searches... thanks for that.   ::)

And I'm not saying it's a *bad* idea to put Dr. Becker's vids up on raw foodie sites, hopefully it will turn the lightbulb on for some.
However, I am saying that it's more likely that most of them will turn a blind eye to it, just like the commentators on Dr. Becker's own site.
Call me jaded.

Movies like Will Smith's Seven Pounds haven't done the pets of these vegans any favors either.

Specifically the scene where Emily (Rosario Dawson) yells at Ben Thomas (Will Smith) for feeding her dog meat. "...eats steamed broccoli and tofu..."  UGH The saving grace was Ben laughing at the idea of a vegetarian dog.

That movie had all kinds of links like this popping up:

At least there were some sane people in the comments section giving educational information on them being carnivores and not omnivores.
