Here's a picture of some of the scratches.  Lola, feel free to re-size if I didn't make it small enough.  That dark shape at the bottom left is where the metal hook used to be that held the suet feeder.

And last but not least, a picture of the bear's claw marks on my deck railing.  These were to the left of the where the metal hook was (facing the back yard).

Between you and someone in one of the BRT groups in FB, I'm going to have nightmares about visiting some places forever.

Ok, here's another picture of the bear print in the moss.  It's to the left of the ruler and I circled it.  Hopefully this will be easier to see?

BTW, the print was about 10 1/2 inches from the heel to the longest toe.  I have no idea how big of a bear has that size foot.

WOWZIERS!!!!

I have a friend that live in Alaska.  She sends me all kinds of pictures of large animals that roam around her home.  It is kind of cool to see nature so close... for me... thousands of miles away!

She works nights and has to do all kinds of weird things, to make sure it is safe for her to go out to her car at night!
