Thx for asking. They are fine. We brought Tommy the feral inside after neutering, shots etc. He is still trying to find his place in the clowder. Patches is in solitary confinement for a few days as she has been attacking Jessie, so I hope that calms down. Watson is his old happy self

Maybe Patches is just upset with the new addition of Tommy.  LOVE the name by the way.  Does solitary confinement usually help?  I have been very fortunate with my feline bunch.  The worse has been hissing on rare occasions.  No one has actually attacked another.  Scary.

It started before Tommy when Jemma was sick and had to be confined (so we could give her her meds). I guess it changed the dynamic because before that all was well between the two. It was actually Jemma that was not fond of Jessie in the beginning. Sigh, males are just so much easier lol. It usually does help separating them for a few days, it shakes up the dynamic and the hierarchy gets shuffled. It also allows the chased cat to relax a few days and build confidence. The scared ones are the ones that get chased, not the ones that turn around and show their claws. Like real life for us humans I guess.

Tommy is getting settled in. Some hissing and one guy chasing the other. The confinement did not help this time so we are resorting back to the good old water pistol. Jemma and Patches just hiss and growl at Tommy if he gets too close. We are trying to feed Patches and Jessie together so they will get 'used' to each other again. It will take some time for the dynamic to get back in the balance but it looks pretty good so far
