It is sweet, but it makes me tear up.  Our animals DO love us.  Unconditionally.  Sometimes (okay, most of the time) I don't feel deserving.

Well, you DO deserve them! Otherwise, God wouldn't put them in your life. You know that just as well as I do.

Yeah, it made me tear up, too.  And like you, I didn't feel deserving.  Even knowing they're here to teach us what love really is, it's hard to feel like I deserved it.  I guess we can only strive to learn from them and be more like them in how we treat others (and ourselves).
