Finally. Legislation to ban declawing in New York State

I wrote to her about declawing after the tattoo banning law came out. (there was a thread about that somewhere)  Maybe others did too.

I realize this may take a long time, but it is a huge first step.

If you want to help, you can write a letter expressing why you are against declawing to: The Honorable William Magee, Chair, Committee on Agriculture, New York State Assembly, Legislative Office Building 828, Albany, NY 12248.

Be sure to put "In Support of A1297 (Rosenthal)."  It doesn't matter if you live in New York or not.  Once the ban is passed in New York, the gate will be open for other states will follow.

Can (if you want) set it up to tweet a few times a day... or is that aggravating to your followers?

I'll just copy and paste it a few times a day for a while. ;)

Twitter is giving me some issues with this tweet. Might only let me do it once a day with the same link. Or I'm going to have to look harder for some other tweets to be between them.

Hawaii, also has a bill pending.  To make declawing (or assisting with a declaw) officially animal cruelty: a misdemeanor.

The Paw Project movie is available just about anywhere or any method you like now. Pass it on.

Yay!!!!
I have yet to watch the Paw Project movie.  I know what declawing involves...don't think I could stomach it.
