Roxy Turned 7 Yesterday
« on: March 19, 2015, 04:51:54 PM »
I knew it was her birthday.  I told her Happy Birthday.  I just didn't post an "announcement" here.

Here's hoping her 7th was a happier one up there.

Roxy is still among the living.  Do NOT apologize.  ;)
She has reason to celebrate.  Roxy's 7th year, and all the years to come, will be barf free...no thanks to her vet.  Thanks goes to the "kooks" on the internet, sharing their advice and knowledge.  :)

You've got so many that I get them all mixed up!

I wouldn't expect ANYONE to be able to keep them all straight.  Heck, there are times when I can't!  lol

I should clarify... I don't know that she will never barf again.  A lot of damage may have been done, from her dry feeding days and the daily barfing.  I can hope though.  :)
Roxy thanked you for the birthday wishes.

Roxy barfed up her breakfast meal yesterday...about 3 hours later.  I'm guessing the kibble feeding days just did toooooo much damage.  I don't know what is next for her.  I'm going to get her an appointment with the vet that DeeDee found for me.  At least that vet is TOTALLY aware of kibble krap causing damage.  And with Roxy already eating an all raw diet... there should be less "guess work."

:(  I'm sorry.  Maybe over time, as the raw continues to do it's magic, she'll have fewer and fewer episodes?   fingerscrossed

I really hope this vet can do some good that you can share with everyone here that doesn't have a vet that understands raw feeding. Mostly I hope the new vet can do Roxy some good.
