Thank you
« on: April 16, 2015, 12:27:51 PM »
I wanted to have a separate message here, to thank all of you for your love, support and guidance through these weeks since I learned Pookie had cancer.  It was so hard to get through this, and I don't think I could have if I hadn't known you were all there to talk to.

Thank you all, so very much.  I'm sure Pookie thanks you, too.   :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* HeadButt HeadButt HeadButt HeadButt HeadButt HeadButt HeadButt

I'm grateful to you for staying with us and sharing Pookie with us.  Is this your first loss of a pet? (besides Jessie?)

I surrendered Pookie's sister, Bonnie, almost 5 years ago (April 19th is the anniversary, actually.  I'm beginning to hate April).  So yes and no.  This is the first time I've sent a pet of my own to the Bridge.  Jessie was my mother's dog, though we all loved him.

They were my first pets, and they will be my last, for many reasons.
