Absolutely.  And what made me tear up was thinking that the pony understood she was trying to save him, which is why he walked right in.  Smart pony!

That IS heartwarming. 
I saw a heartwarming story on the news.  A young lady put her 70 lb dog in a back-pack type of thing... balanced him on the handle bars of her bike... and got out!

When I saw the story, she showed how she did it.

Not that it would be much easier, but he was in a duffle bag ...with the majority of his weight on the handle bars.
