Title: Re-Introducing Proteins And/Or Textures
Post by: Lola on May 18, 2016, 12:53:33 AM
If I feed a protein or texture that I haven't fed in a while, a few act like it is the first time and have to be coaxed into eating it again.

Example:  Ground mouse.  It is a bit pricey for my budget, so I only feed it every once in a while. Lola, Goose, and Roxy had to be "talked" into eating it the other day.  Roxy surprisingly required the least amount of coaxing.  She is the least fond of change.

I go through the same thing with Stella & Chewys frozen raw.

Anyone else have this "problem?"

I haven't.  My only issue with re-introducing is Mazy cat, and her problem is she'll puke if something new isn't introduced slowly enough. Jennie will eat anything put in front of her and Queen Eva is suspicious of everything, no matter how often she gets it.

Of course I have only 3 cats.  With 6, you are bound to get some interesting and varied reactions!
