Title: Romaine lettuce - e coli
Post by: Middle Child on April 23, 2018, 04:38:36 PM
I only just heard about this today.  I opened and ate from a new bag of romaine hearts last night. I use Fresh Express organic romaine hearts.  I have written to both Fresh Express and the store I bought the bag from asking them why they have not addressed this issue yet.

The CDC is warning to eat no romaine at all, to throw it away. It can take up to 4 days to know if you've been infected.  Goody good for me eh?  bangshead

This article does state that current supply is unlikely to have come from Yuma AZ, that growers have moved to their California farms now..
