Raw Feeding / Re: Rad Cat is ceasing production

For MC and anyone else looking for alternatives:

Perhaps the companies below would be options?  I haven't contacted them to confirm they are non-GMO, but it might be worth reaching out to them to ask.

Darwin's - https://www.darwinspet.com/why-darwins/high-quality-ingredients/

Balanced Blends - https://balancedblends.com/

I don't mind HPP. Rad Cat is HPP.

My problem is Mazy cat needs non-GMO fed chicken and turkey. The chicken is difficult to find locally but I do manage to keep ahead of my needs with it, with Mazy cat having 1/3 home ground chicken breast and thigh with EZcomplete. But she won't eat more EZc than that.  She needs some variety, and that was the RAd Cat chicken and Rad Cat turkey.

If I even could get her to eat 100% EZc that would affect my own quality of life.  I would be grinding meat for her, portioning out it, freezing it, every single weekend.  I hope there is something left for my supplier to get in for me, they don't order until Sunday, so I can stock up.

My friend D has made room in her freezer for me if I can get it. with the 2+ months I have now, maybe that will get me through until they are up and running again..

I stopped by the specialty pet food store where I used to buy Pookie's food to let them know, and they were already aware.  The manager had ordered as many tubs of RadCat as she could, for her customers.  Apparently a lot of them feed it.  I mentioned HareToday and MyPetCarnivore to her as well, so she can share that info with her customers.  I also asked about some of the other raws, and most of them are HPP.  :(  I think Vital Essentials is not HPP.

They are open to an investor, so maybe there is still hope.

If I ever won the PowerBall, or MegaMillions, oh the fun I would have helping out a company like this.   :)

Can you imagine having so much money that you have a loss of 9 BILLION?!   :o  I remember my first purchase from Amazon.  The company was so new, I was nervous giving my cc number online!   Silly7

No billionaire was hit as hard by Wednesday's stock market plunge – which included an 832-point dive by the Dow – than Jeff Bezos.

During the Wednesday selloff, the Amazon founder and CEO lost more than $9 billion.

Raw Feeding / Rad Cat Didn't Die, It Was MURDERED

They intentionally ignored procedure, they intentionally mishandled a testing sample, they intentionally destroyed a quality pet food business.

With great sadness, Rad Cat Pet Food announced yesterday they will be closing their doors. Their business was murdered by FDA and multiple State Department of Agriculture offices.

Where did you quote that from?

Kohl Harrington was live on FB yesterday.  Got the link from the Live video chat.   Sounds like he will be "looking into" what happened to RadCat and possibly adding the info to Pet Fooled 2.
Questions can be asked, via the link, after a donation.
It is possible you can look up that video chat, and also ask a question from there as well.  Even though he is no longer live, the video would be there.
