I'm hoping rap music will just fall off the face of the planet actually. That would be awesome.

For me it was hearing a Bon Jovi song on a Classic Rock station.  I sat there thinking:  since when is Bon Jovi "Classic" rock . . . that was .... oh, yeah, the 80's were 20+ years ago.  Oops.   :'(

Under Pressure is a great song (and indeed, all the music I know by Queen is good :))... Ice is a rip-off of the supporting music IMO... I used to wonder if he even got permission to use it lol.

I grew up listening to my parents' 70s tapes, listened to the radio a lot in the 90s... But admittedly, since 2002 or so, mainstream music has NOT impressed me much. Now I just listen to stuff most people have never heard of -- Namely, Skaven, Xerxes, Jonas Kroon, Kristian Linna, AniMusic, games soundtracks (Bejeweled series {done by Skaven}, DXBall, Pinball Warriors, Silver Pinball {I love my old MS-DOS games haha}, among others) and whatever makes my subwoofers go crazy (but isn't [c]rap) :D

Actually, the 80s were THIRTY plus years ago.

Wait......weren't they?  Let me see.  It's 2012..1980 was 32 years ago, right?  Well okay, if we're talking 1983-'89 I guess you could call it 20 +.....

Actually, at the time that I heard the Bon Jovi song on a Classic Rock station, we were in the 2000-2010 decade.   ;D
