You can feed it as a once in a great while meal until it gets used up?

Yeah, I'll feed it to Lacy dog.  God knows I've fed much worse.  As lame as that is. I won't order more, after it is gone.  I'm just bummed because I wanted to add another food into the rotation for her.  A food that I was more joyful about adding.

Primal states that the montmorillonite clay is NOT an ingredient change.  Montmorillonite clay is the same as "trace minerals."

Trace minerals is now listed as montmorillonite clay. This is not an ingredient change, rather a state department of agriculture requirement to list this ingredient as montmorillonite clay.

Dr Plechner recommends it, but there are things I have issues with it about. He says it's a natural antibiotic. Other places I've checked it out at say that it also kills GOOD bacteria, so I'm not so positive about using it all the time, or even much of the time. That reason and not being able to figure out exactly how much potassium it had in it made me reject it for Vlad for calcium replacement after he could no longer have bones.

Thanks, DeeDee.  I shoot for the least amount of "questionable" ingredients as possible.

The vet office sells the different versions of Primal.  I recently bought the chunks for Misa dog.  Kinda pricey, but wow.... can't ask for anything easier!  Take a few cubes out of freezer.  Thaw.  Feed.
The produce ingredients... not good.  Makes Misa very burp-y.

Copied from the cat section...

Primal does offer a chub, with no produce:
