I'm not 100% sure what you mean by loading large..

Might have just been a fluke, but when it loaded for me the first few times, the main body was so large that there was only about 1/4" of background (green) in the margins.  I have my FF window expanded to nearly full screen, so it was a little overwhelming.  Seems to have resolved however, since I've set it to my preference by using ctrl + scroll.  Might have just been a FF thing.   :-\

Maybe... The main body's width is 980 pixels, so if you're running a screen resolution of 1024x768 it can seem rather overwhelming... But few people I know use monitor resolutions that low anymore. Typical visitors to my site run 1280x1024 or equivalent widescreen resolutions like 1366x768. My monitors, for example, run 1920x1200, 1680x1050, and 1440x900.

Offhand, though, yes, AC wants the facebook/twitter/email/save/share buttons on the posts (though unobtrusively)... I forgot to account for that in my mock-up.

Cool, that'll work fine; the options are all there, but I don't want them on the pages now, lest they get clicked and link to a page that won't be there anymore once the setup is completely moved to your site, lol.

heh. I just noticed I can't edit my posts... Oh well, just letting it be known then that I have closed down port 8080 of my site, so the links to ak49bwl.com:8080 will no longer get you anywhere...

Well, thank you for asking! I have a few more tweaks I'd like to make, and I have to fill in the static content, so I'm thinking perhaps by next weekend. I will definitely let you know. :-}

If anyone would like to take a look at the site in its draft form, the url is www.catcentric.org.

I welcome thoughts - keeping in mind, of course, that this is not yet in its final form - if you care to pm them to me. (Note: The posts currently in the blog will be deleted when I'm ready to go live.)

Thanks!

There are no words to adequately describe my appreciation of Brandon's efforts. If it wasn't for him, this site would still be nothing more than a twinkle in my eye.... thank you, Brandon!
