We were talking about the fact that the Berlin Police have told people to not use the new reactions in Facebook because of the way they're using them in algorithms. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2016/05/13/dont-use-facebooks-reaction-buttons-if-you-value-privacy-belgian/

And this little free thing was mentioned--and I've used it most of the day and really like it. It's called Ghostery. If pages have a lot of junk in them, you'll see a little ghost on the part of the page that Ghostery thinks needs blocking.

Here's the page to the add-on if someone else wants to try it. I've put it on both Chrome and Firefox. Looks a bit different in each browser, but it still works the same. Just click on the wrench once you install the add-on for the settings you want. I had it block everything that it can.

All of their solutions can be found at (look for browser extension option):

I use Ad Block.  Have for years.  It works pretty good.

I've used AdBlock before, but it just didn't work too well. Too many times I had to play with it to allow pages that I knew were okay because it was reacting with my Avira browser addon. This Ghostery thing blocks many things, and I've not had to mess with the settings since I installed it.

There was a warning/article on Facebook telling people to not use the new "Like" and such buttons and why.  Ghostery is similar to AdBlock... only better.  :)
