It seems obvious

If you have to wear a raincoat to mow the lawn, it's too wet to mow.  Doh1

Now, why would you say that?

I'm glad you asked.  Silly7

Because, from a personal point of view, since he cannot mow without making a mess on my flagstone walkway, when the grass is wet and the sidewalk is wet, it is much more difficult for me to clean up. Much of it simply sticks to the flagstones and will not come up with a broom at all.

Cutting spinach. Can you ask him to be more considerate or clean up?

That's been done. It makes no difference.  He also mows down any wildflowers, including my daisy patch, unless I barricade them in a way that would take him more than a few minutes to get off the mower and move it.

I think it's a male thing. They just want to cut down anything. And they won't be told what to do.

This guy, uses the yard care as an excuse to stay out of the house, in my opinion.  He was at it all day yesterday, both over here and at his own (across the road).  Every time I thought he was done I would wait a while, then finally open up the house again and let the cats out on the porch, and within minutes he would start again.

At 5:30 pm I was at my wits end.  He had come over with a weed whacker and was doing a bit of grass around some trees, right under my living room window with the noise and stench. Grass that was barely 3 inches high.  As I reached to close the window again I was shrieking (to ease my own stress feelings) and as I was saying very loudly stop it just stop it! the weed whacker turned off, just as I was shouting it again.  So he must have heard me.  And..miracles of all miracles, he did..  Instead he went back to his and started running all his power equipment in the garage, for what reason I do not know.

To asphyxiate his family and me, perhaps.

Yes.  Well he mows the landlord's lawn. And uses his best efforts to mow down my daisy patch and other wild flowers too, same as the landlord always did. I do my own fenced in portion with my little reel mower. It's almost 20 years old now, but it still gets the job done.

Apparently, if it's not raining, one must mow in the dark. Which means that I have to go out at what should be my bed time to sweep up. Because, as already mentioned, he leaves a mess on my walkway.

Yeah. I think he just looks for excuses to get out of the house.  Get away from the wife and 3 kids under 8. Silly7
