I thought the concert was awesome!

Quote
The concert had a scheduled 12:05 a.m. ending time, but continued until 1:22 a.m. Most networks aired the entire concert, with the noted exception of Ion Television, which abruptly cut to that night's reairing of WWE Main Event at 12:30 a.m., despite a scroll stating the concert would be carried in its entirety and WWE having aired prior to the concert.

Ion TV was the station I turned on to watch it... well, most of it.  Missed the ending.   bangshead

Anyone else watch it?
Did anyone go?

I was there.  :)  If anyone has the tech-savvy to zoom to the right of Patti's head @ 0:38, please let me know   happydance1

Billy & Alecia were on the other side of the stage from us (but thankfully at least facing us), due to them playing Pianos. They were the only ones whose clothes we couldn't see the wrinkles in  :-[

The speakers & comedians (Crystal, Sandler, etc.) were over on the other side, on the little stage.  The stage in front of us was a full circle, and would rotate around for the next performers while the speakers were speaking over on the little stage.  Could see equal-part of front (main) stage and back stage - like 8 feet away  :o :o  !!!   Half our show was watching them scramble backstage to transform that half for the next performers   ;D , and seeing who was standing in front of us on the left, waiting to come out next.  wow1
Was eyeball-to-eyeball with Bruce. He really IS nice.  Good thing it wasn't Billy, though. They would have had to carry me outta there  :-[

Whoever gave up my ticket must have been out of the country designing NASA's next rocket or performing brain transplants or something  -- whatever,  I wil be forever grateful.   love1

Knew he was skinny but didn't realise Mick was that skinny!!    He is literally a toothpick!   Was soooo glad they decided to do this event!!   Sooooo fun to watch, and oh! the energy of Mick!!    Saw Keith Richards & his red bandana backstage, getting ready to come out, and thought of Kramer from Senfield before he got closer & I realised who he was  Bumpurr1

Your seat sounds AWESOME!
I was amazed how good everyone looked.  Bruce and Jon Bon Jovi are DEFINITELY still easy on the eyes!  (Probably the youngest too.  ;) )
Oh, but I didn't recognize Billy Crystal... took me a minute.
