Comfort movies
« on: April 28, 2015, 05:56:36 PM »
Most people have comfort foods, and maybe even comfort books, why not comfort movies?  I have a few (that I own, I am sure there are others that I would watch if I had them)

These are the movies I can watch, if I feel like watching rather than reading, even though I've already seen them multiple times (in no special order).

True Grit
When Harry met Sally
Sound of Music
Forest Gump
Holiday
Philadelphia Story

And probably my most absolute favorite:  BIG MIRACLE

Name just about any Disney movie (real or cartoon), and you've got my list.
"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semihuman. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog." Edward Hoagland
"Thorns may hurt you, men desert you, sunlight turn to fog; but you're never friendless ever, if you have a dog."
