Pure Bites has a wet supplemental feeding product now

I was quite shocked at their lack of making it obvious that this product is NOT meant to be fed as a balanced diet.  You have to scroll down on any given flavor, click on the feeding guidelines and read the tiny print to find that out.  How many people do that?

Them calling it a "whole food" is very misleading and many people are just plain stupid and lazy and will not bother to read the fine print.  They will think oh great a new wet food I can feed the cats.

I have sent them an email regarding this, asking them to put it in bold easy can't miss it letters on every single individual product page, and the product menu page that this food is meant for treats or toppers only.

The wording on their website uses the word "treat" repeatedly.  I was going to give them a pass, but then I brought up the packaging picture. 
You are right.... "Whole Food" at the top of the packaging is VERY misleading.  Also at the bottom .... "food * treat * mixer" soooo not good either!

Yes, but "treat" can mean anything. People (dry feeders) often call giving their cat a little canned food a "treat". Calling it a "whole food" is, in my opinion false advertising and misleading if not downright dishonest and it is certainly irresponsible and dangerous.

Well I warned people in twitter and used hashtags, so that's the best I can do to get the word out.

They changed it! Took "whole food" out of the wording all together! Now called "pure mixers"!
