I have a pair of net laundry bags that are more than 32 years old. I bought them in the fall of 1984 at Woolworth's. I took the bus over to Troy that day, just to explore someplace different, on a day off, you know, and shopped at Woolworth's for the first time in my life, at age 24. I also bought a lace table doily (which died only recently, from cat puke not wear and tear) and a plastic table cloth that later I decided was icky and never used.
I started thinking about the history of those bags because I noticed one of them has a little tear in one corner now. I've used them weekly or more, all these years. I hope I can fix the tear.
