Caring For Your Cat / Re: Queen Eva threw up with a pink tinge
« Last post by Middle Child on December 17, 2023, 06:28:25 AM »Another nice poop over night with some fur in it. I'm not sure if it was enough fur, but we'll see. I'm giving her 12 hour overnight fasts.
I'm in a quandary about the Denamarin though. I can't see me having a fight with her every morning, soon I won't see her at all in the morning, if I attempt this pill, that has to be syringed down with 3 ccs of water. It's only guess work if it will do anything and I'm not inclined to put her through it at this stage.
I think I forgot to mention the Denamarin. Vet recommended it as an antioxidant. Says they suggest it for pancreatitis patients. Which Queen Eva is not confirmed to have, since we couldn't do the blood work.
I took my question about it to the Raw for IBD group and only got one useful answer from someone who is (I think) a vet tech said they use it for support in pancreatitis cases.
Still, it is not confirmed she has pancreatitis, and I'm just not putting the two of us through it at this stage.
