Please keep you paws crossed Queen Eva isn't hurt!
« on: October 11, 2014, 08:29:01 AM »
Good grief she just went flying over the half wall down the stair well! It all happened so fast and then she tore up the stairs and hid under the couch.  I coaxed her out with some PureBites and shut up in the bathroom I felt her gently all over.  she didn't react with any flinching, but could there be internal injury?  It HAD to have hurt.  I think right now she's just scared, she went back behind the couch, but not under it.

UPDATE: Well she seems okay so far.  She came out to eat, jumped up on the washer, jumped down again with no apparent trouble and is now in the coveted bathroom window Spot, which is also a very high jump.  My gosh., what a fright she gave me.  I've been in there smooching and talking to her and she says she's fine.

Darn, she jumped down while I was writing.  I wanted to see her do it.

That would have given me a heart attack! I'm glad she's jumping up and down. I don't think she'd do that if she were hurt. I think that if she were hurt, she'd be keeping all 4 feet on level ground below the places she's jumping up to in the house.

I just went in to Queen Eva she was curled up on her Bathroom Bed.  She went into a big curl and s-t-r-e-t-c-h with no flinching, so I guess she is okay.  Thank goodness, that took years off my life!

We've all been out on the porch.  Chilly, but lovely.  When I took this set I didn't realize I was catching some action! (more to come)

Two more of my Baby Girl, extra precious after the scare this morning, and a video  Listen closely to the beginning of the video and you can hear a couple of her chirps

Thanks Dee  HeadButt

I will continue to watch her though, in case she has some soreness tomorrow.

Thanks Shadow.  This morning she shows no signs of soreness in any way.  I am thankful she wasn't hurt, my gosh I was terrified when I saw her go over and heard the thump, and then saw her streak, low to the ground, to under the couch.  She seems to have forgotten her misadventure already.

So glad she is alright. I am sure it was more stressful for you than her.
