For those of you that wanted Windows 10 Upgrades

Sorry.  I know I'm hopeless.  I didn't see any difference between picasa and gimp.  If they aren't easy I can't figure them out.  I don't understand why they have to be so complicated.  I just don't understand it. Either I am incredibly dumb, or software creators are sadists.

I just want to be able to have a picture, crop it, adjust lighting and color,  maybe resize a copy for sharing in a forum or e mail, and save it all in one place, on my computer, all just right in front of me.  Same with video.  Vista movie maker was brilliant.  Picture Gallery movie (windows took some learning, and I still would get frustrated but I got used to it.  Still, Vista was perfect.

I just don't understand why each system makes it more and more difficult to do simple things in picture editing.

Remember Corel Photoshop? That was easy too.  I have no idea what it's like now, I haven't had it since before 2008.

Corel is still around.  Odds are it has "improved" over the years though.  There may be a trial version you could try.

Sorry you guys.  I know my whining is ridiculous.  I just have no brain paths for this kind of thing. I just don't understand why it has to be made so complicated all the time.  I'll check out the corel links thanks Dee.  You guys have the patience of job with me. I know I('m impossible n this subject.

It's called "job security" for the software creators.

MC I use Picasa sometimes, it is totally different than Gimp. Gimp is more like photo shop, Picasa is very easy to use.

 Windows 10 has better editing than windows 8...just saying   you can do all the things you want MC with Win 10..its basic just for you 

although the privacy issues for Win 10 need to be dealt with when you download it.

Updated to 10 on my laptop. OMG!  Since I was using an XP shell on 8 I am totally confused and have to relearn ugh

I turned on hubby's laptop (with Window 10 on it) a few days ago.  I could have taken a nap during the time it took to totally boot up.  I'll have to check into that.  Thanks!!!
