Sorry to hear that Lola has been feeling unwell :( I hope the probiotics help.

I only took her off of probiotics while she was taking antibiotics.  With two of us feeding meals and even though I keep a journal... I didn't want to risk her be given both in the same meal.  I know, hard to believe something so simple could get screwed up, but...

She stopped scratching and itching.  I don't know WHAT that was all about.
Now she is sneezing.  I ASSuME the stress of being ill and the itching brought out the URI.  So now I am also giving her L-lysine.
As far as her mood, she is doing VERY well.  Surprisingly.

Thanks for asking.

It is odd, how a cat seems to go through a progression...one thing wrong leads to another, until it is all worked through?  I don't know. I still say whoever said "having pets extends your longevity" doesn't know what they are talking about, LOL

Lately, I seem to stumble on the words... Pets do wonders for human stress.  Maybe in a perfect world.  lol

Anyway I am just THRILLED Lola is doing so well!  This will sound a bit odd, but I am also relieved to know that a cat CAN make it - after bringing up pools of water and hiding.  Until this experience, I thought those were always signs of "the end."

MAYBE we (or me) would be less apt to panic, if cats showed pain and sickness at a MUCH earlier stage.

Again... thank you all!!

That's a very good point to make Lola. I've been through that tunnel a number of times, but not everyone has. It's a very good lesson to learn.
