Nothing so far.  I wonder if someone doesn't like the idea of being on camera.  ;)
I just can not believe it was a cleanliness issue.  I am EXTREMELY sensitive to smells and am anal about clean litter and boxes.  Boxes are scooped daily and dumped and washed once a month... at a minimum.  More often if there is even a hint of an EW factor going on.

This is driving me crazy! There is always a reason.

Figures. LOL.  I don't doubt that your litter boxes are clean. So it's got to be something else. Sooner or later the culprit may start up again.  Or not. If not, all is well, right?

Lucy is the culprit.  She walked into the room I am in.  Walked up to a box and pooped in front of it.  The boxes were dumped, washed, and all new litter put in... less than 24 hours  There are two boxes in this room.  One with a lid and one without.

Kinda odd she wouldn't poop on the floor for the camera, but would for me.  My guess...she wanted to make sure I knew it was her.  ??

She has a vet appointment tomorrow.

Her legal ;) name is Lucy, but we have called her "Goose" for years.  It started as Lucy Goose...just because it rhymed.  Then it was Crazy as a Goose.  She would be a comedian if she was a human.  She wouldn't know her name is Lucy, if she was wearing a name tag.

Sooooo, I'm going to stop with the use of her formal name from now on.  :)

Put the bag in a glass jar, and THEN put it in the fridge! Glad you found out who it was!

Yep, she's telling you, hey mom something's wrong.  So, how did the poop look?  Normal raw poop? Excessively hard or chalky looking?  Too soft?  Did she show any signs of straining while doing it?

Just got back.
The tech did the blood and urine tests.  I gave them the poo, but it is likely not fresh enough.
Didn't see or talk to the vet.  Guess you have to request an appointment with the vet.  *sigh*  I assume it is their way of saving a person money.
They have copies of her last blood tests... for comparison.
I should hear the results tomorrow or Monday.

I am pretty bummed about not having an appointment that included a conversation with a vet.  Wouldn't most vets assume pooping outside the box is litter box related?  If I'm not asked any questions about our litter box cleaning routine and such, how is that possibility eliminated?  Will blood, urine, and fecal tests for sure give an answer... assuming Lucy's issue is not litter box related?

It sure does stink taking a pet to the vet... not being able to explain.  Her little face just kept looking at me, as if to say "why?"  The soft mews (not her norm)... it all just breaks my heart.

fingerscrossed the vet's office can give you some answers.

When you talk to the vet's office on Monday, you could ask to speak directly to the vet.  If he/she isn't available at the time, request they call you back, because you want to talk to a vet.
