I volunteered to make 3 lasagnas for an event. To save some time, I shopped for all the ingredients yesterday. However, the brand of ricotta cheese that I wanted to buy wasn't available. The store brand was cheaper then the other name brand that was available. Store brands are OFTEN made by name brands with just a littttle bit of a change. I wanted to see if there was a big difference between the store brand and name brand.

Ingredients: Whey, Milk, Vinegar, and Xanthan Gum, Locust Bean Gum, Guar Gum...
My first thought... OMG! When I fed canned food to my furkids, I avoided those ingredients!!
I'll never look at lasagna the same again.
