Lola, I feed homemade raw and try to keep canned on hand for emergencies.

Pookie, I am sorry it didn't go over well. Did the can have any dents in it or did the food smell bad at all? Amber likes the chicken. Ninja/Thomas-kitty, my mom's cat, would eat the chicken but preferred the beef kind.

Hi Amber,

No, the can was fine and I didn't notice any smell.  I don't remember too well, but the texture was different from anything I've ever fed before.  Nothing seemed "odd" but I had to go with Pookie's reaction and tossed it.   :(  I'm still working up the courage to try him with the rabbit.  Things have been crazy lately and I want to do it when things are calmer.

I don't feed him beef -- he was developing a sensitivity to it right before I went totally grain-free, and I'm just not comfortable feeding it.  I'm glad Ninja/Thomas-kitty likes it!

Makes sense to keep wet available, for an emergency.  I forgot about that.
I LOVE the name Thomas.  I like "people" names for pets.
How would a person know, if cat food smelled bad?  lol
We don't feed beef anything either.  Roxy had issues with it, so no one gets it.  Lacy (dog) gets to eat beef though.  :)

Jennie and Queen Eva get raw beef on Sunday.  Mazy can't tolerate any red meat.  Queen Eva also enjoys Rad Cat lamb.
