Wow, what an ANGEL!!!

Dr Bob Rogers,   http://www.critteradvocacy.org/   of Texas sued over this issue:

Quote
My efforts in the last six years to promote change have been met with frustration. I have written to every State Board of Veterinary Medicine in the U.S. I have been before the Texas State Board six times. After I appeared before the Texas Sunset Committee, a group of 12 Senators who over- see the State Veterinary Board, they ordered the Board to crack down on unnecessary vaccines. They have not. The Attorney General’s office in Texas has agreed that it is unlawful for a Veterinarian to obtain a fee by the misrepresentation of the benefit or necessity of vaccines. And yet the misrepresentation of vaccines to the public and the harming of our pets continues unchecked.

Here's another Veterinarian who lost his job because he has ethics:

Quote
A former veterinarian at Banfield The Pet Hospital  in Tualatin is suing the national chain claiming he was wrongly fired after repeatedly complaining that his clinic was putting profits above the best interests of animals.
Robert Nix  claims that the Nyberg Woods location in Tualatin bought an ultrasound machine and began pressuring veterinarians to use it at least once a week to boost the company's bottom line, even when they didn't believe it was necessary.

Sadly, Banfield is not alone. There's another big Mcvet chain, just as bad.

This is why, at those Mcvet chains, you always see a bunch of verrry young (and verrrrrrrrrry inexperienced) "Doctors".

These poor kids just want to get a foot in the door and get their feet wet, and instead of having a decent mentor, are pressured to upsell.  (Good luck even getting an ear infection disgnosed.)

Ever been attacked at those stores with the McVets' "coupons" for services? I have.

I just tell them, "They have their own vet already, and we're just here for toys."

Vaccine researcher Dr Jean Dodds also asserts that vaccine doses can be safely reduced. She says she has been vaccinating toy breeds with half doses for years.
