Yesterday At My Pro Raw Vet...

(1/1)

Lola:
There was a client paying his bill and wanting to buy food for his cat.  The vet office sells a lot of different brands of raw, canned, and kibble.

I over-heard wet food being recommended.  NOT Hills or any of the RX "foods."  I didn't hear why wet food was recommended for the cat.  I know why, in general, but I don't know the exact whys this client was told.

The customer gave alllllll kinds of reasons as to why he didn't want to feed wet.
He left with a "high end" brand of kibble.

Some may say that the office shouldn't sell kibble of any kind.  I would agree, EXCEPT this is a perfect example of a client going to do what a client is going to do.  The "high end" kibble is better (I HATE typing that!) then...Cat Chow.

Vets can only do so much.  That had to be VERY frustrating!  Client takes his cat to the vet, for the vet to "fix."  But client ties the hands of the vet.

I can only imagine how the vet felt.  Personally, I wanted to SCREAM!
