When we adopted her, we got another cat as well. They both came from the same home. Sadly, the other cat did not live very long with us. She was an excellent hider and I could never find her. Finally one day after not being able to find her for awhile, I found her but she had died :( Not sure what happened. She may have been sick, but I'm not sure.

So now Honey D's friends consist of my dad when he's working. He says she follows him like a dog. And my grandfather who also works down there. She got very matted and he clipped the mats out of her fur for her. Since it's a business, I think she also gets pets from customers from time to time. And I visit her about once a day.

No shame in being a barn cat.  Oldest cat profession, going back to the Egyptian grainaries.
She looks content.   HeadButt

Ann,
Our member, Mo, has barn cats... lots of them!  If you do a search, her pictures of them will (should) show up.

Thank FurMonster. I figured that being a barn cat would be better than what the shelter would have done anyways. I'll have to look for some photos :)
