'Advice' Provided by Food Company Representatives
« on: July 02, 2011, 08:17:48 PM »
Since Raw food companies are competing for business too, we must be just as diligent and cautious when it comes to the information they provide.

 From  http://www.vitalessentialsraw.com/html/fillmybowl.htm :

"Helpful Hints for Finicky Cat

...2. Allow them to "hunt" the food by placing a portion of freeze-dried raw food in a small baggy with a few pinholes poked in it. Hide the baggy somewhere in your house where your cat can find it on their own. Often cats will accept the food after they "catch" it themselves.

3. Drop food on the floor and shoo the cat away leaving the food on the floor where they can come back and find it.

5. If you have additional helpful hints for cats please e-mail them to meow@vitalessentialsraw.com
"

I'm sure they will receive plenty of those!
Nothing like blockages and serious intestinal issues from cats ingesting plastic baggie, for starters ...  >:(
