Visual evidence that dogs are carnivores
« on: July 14, 2012, 09:18:56 PM »
I'm driving home from work last night and see something light brown by the side of the road.  As I get closer I see there are 2 dogs:  a golden retriever, and I think a lab (not sure), CHOWING DOWN on roadkill, probably a deer.  Yum!

Yup, they are definitely opportunistic carnivores!   ;D

(And my other 2 thoughts as I drove by:  that's not something you see every day, and 2.  boy would their parents be grossed out if they knew what their dogs were eating, and then probably giving them "kisses" when they get home . . . )   :-X

Hope no one from the PFI reads your post...they will be ticked they missed an opportunity to market the road kill.
