Aunt Jeni's Home Made (Maryland)
« on: August 22, 2011, 11:26:45 AM »
Here's another one to throw in the mix, Aunt Jeni's Home Made in Maryland. Have never heard of them before (found their link on a site mentioning Dr. Lisa). Hopefully they are a diamond-in-the-rough for somebody out there.
They list everything (including Carb %) in their analysis, and do not mark "up" for shipping  thumbsup1

The only difference between our dog and cat/ferret formulas is the ratio of meat to vegetables.  Our dog Chicken, Lamb, Beef and Rabbit formulas are 65:35, while our dog Goat and Turkey formulas are 75:25.  Our cat/ferret Chicken, Beef and Rabbit formulas are 85:15; the Turkey formula for cats is 90:10. ...My cat is trying to eat the dog's food, is this ok?

Sure!  ...food! However, on a long term basis, you will want to provide more meat in your cat's diet than our dog formulas will give him/her.

Saw a Dog-stir thread about them from last year and most of the reviews were favorable -- especially the Turkey for kitties with 90% meat. (Biggest complaint was too much veggies for doggies, but the dogs still did well on it, and kitties' meat ration is higher.)
