Purina: I don't know whether to laugh or puke

"Purina: Where honesty is our first ingredient"

http://www.petfoodhonesty.com/

I'm not talking about the article that follows, I don't waste my time reading such gibberish any more. Just the slogan is bad enough.

Yes, but it's the slogan that is going to stick.  And people will believe it. And quote it as truth. It just annoys the heck out of me, these pet food companies.  The only reason I saw it was because it was an ad on a pet finder page.  The only reason I was on pet finder was because I had read and was following up on a horrible but all too common story about a cat who had her toes cut off, then was dumped by her family when they had a baby.

Sometimes it's hard to find ANY good in the world.

Except for those like us, the rarer ones (though we grow in numbers every day), that don't/won't believe any of them no matter what.

The newest (at least I THINK it is new) Blue commercial is Blue comparing their canned food to Friskies.  Looks like a Friskies can, I should say.  It was good...Blue not containing any mystery meat (meat by-products).  Then Blue had to go and ruin it, by mentioning that Friskies had no fruits or veggies either.

I don't feed any Blue products.  BUT I would, before I would feed Purina anything.
