Baby gets grumpy at the cats if they try to steal her bed.

Teaka gets a nose in the face.
Pippen gets a growl.
Loki gets the full treatment plus a bark.

Belle, however...
Well, if Belle happens to steal the bed while Baby is out of it, then she is allowed to stay in it.
The Princess always gets her way.
meow meow meow meow meow meow? -woof!
Translation: "I can has my raw food? -please!"

Vlad Guarding the RV June 1, 2013 in Wichita, Kansas at USI RV Park:

I'm so proud of Vladdy!

Granddaughters were over here for a while today. For the first time ever, I told him,"Down," in the doorway to the kitchen, and he went down and STAYED THE WHOLE TIME THEY WERE EATING LUNCH!!!! No redirection necessary at all!

He ignored his 2 biggest lures of all, children & food, and calmly laid there the whole time!

YES!

LOL! Of course he did! They rubbed all over him after they were finished, and I made his lunch with broken up pieces of Zuke's z-filets on top for a special "Attaboy!"

Saturday, we took the boys to a Casting Call/Bark Party. Knowing I could get a photo from pet photographer that's well known in this area was the icing that had us driving an hour and a half. We knew it's a BIG long-shot to take black dogs to things like that, but hey!

It was also a good opportunity to see Vlad's reaction in a big group of dogs like that. He's never been in a group like that before since he can't go to dog parks and be off leash to run until he's two.

His mom was also brought and she helped show him proper demeanor in that situation. We really weren't sure how he'd react, but he did really well to be in a crowd where there were over 100 dogs that day. But at least I had the kind of help there that knew (MUCH better than me) how to work with it if he did go a bit nutzy.

He didn't even find any men there to growl at. I was proud of him.

Barkly was his usual social-butterfly self. I don't think he's ever met a stranger whether it be animal or human.

Here are the boys:

Maybe one day hubs will give in and let me pay that sitting fee with her. *sigh* At least he let me order a couple of them b/c he loved the photo of his little baby Barkly.

Lacy went to the master bedroom back door, so I let her out. She preceded to the other back door. Hubby let her in. Guess she just wanted to take the short route to the dining room. Lol

She played outside with me, for the FIRST time yesterday...since the Sparky fight.  I have been trying and trying.
It took a while just to get her to hang with me outside.  For the longest time, she would only stay outside long enough to do her business.

Seeing her happy.  I mean reallllly happy...awesome.  She has been in the dumps for a loooong time.

Funny story (to me anyway...lol)  A week or so ago, her and I were in the backyard.  I was pulling weeds.  I pretended to not notice her wanting to go back inside.  Hubby wasn't home, so there was no one inside for her to "talk" into letting her in.
She would come up to me and "talk" to me... kisses... walk back to one of the doors...etc.  I would talk to her and pet her...but not visually follow her, when she went back to one of the doors.  She finally sat her butt down right in the spot, where I was pulling weeds.  I thought... she couldn't be doing that on purpose.  I moved to another section.  She did the same thing.  She won... we went inside. :)
