Cripes that title shot terror into my heart! I thought you were coming in to tell us some unthinkable news.

LOL, MC.  HeadButt

Vlad's doing great for the most part. He was a bit wonky after this past Percorten injection, but I put a stop on lowering that for now to work on lowering the prednisone. I started the lowering chart again on the 8th, and right now we're at the 4.5 mg all-week point.

Once I get his prednisone as low as I can, then I'll tell him to start testing blood again for the Percorten lowering since he's back to wonky after it again. I know others work on prednisone and Percorten lowering at the same time, but I just can't make myself do it. His vet agrees with my antsy-ness too. There are just too many variables for me to consider working on more than one thing at once.

Thank you for asking, Lola!  :-*

Yeah, I got nervous too, when I saw that.

I don't blame you one bit for wanting to focus on one thing at a time.  You can make yourself nuts otherwise (been there, done that).

I'm glad he's doing well!  multistars multistars multistars

I fixed the subject line.  My apologies.

I can CERTAINLY understand only wanting to fix one thing at a time!
Thanks for the update.  Hugs to all of you!!!

Well some days are better than others, but that's because of me and my emotions. We both feed off of each other's emotions. He's due for his shot tomorrow, so I'll just have to automatically bump his prednisone before we leave the house. I think I might stop at Burger King for some hamburgers for them as a special treat.

Went without a hitch! He didn't even try to growl at the Pyrenees that came in. Never know how he might react to other dogs anymore. Haven't since he got sick. Stress is sometimes an iffy thing with him. That's why we go at 1:00 every time. The office just has opened back from lunch. Sometimes they don't manage it, but most of the time it seems they try to let everyone get a break. Less patients at that time, less stress for Vlad.

LMAO. They loved it. This is the 2nd time I've done this. I think he knows what the word "hamburger" is now. If it's food, he picks up words pretty fast.
