Bird in the house!
« on: September 30, 2016, 09:38:01 AM »
Just had some big excitement in this house, a chickadee got in.  Somehow it must have gotten into the porch yesterday and stuck in there.  (with the deer netting, probably couldn't find it's way back out)

Last night the cats were acting all spooked at the sliding door, but I couldn't see anything out there so I forgot about it.

Just now I took some laundry out there to hang up and noticed a bird poop on the cat's perch.  I thought that was weird, then left the door open because Queen Eva was still out there, suddenly I hear all this flapping and banging against the screens at the livingroom windows and there was a poor little chickadee freaking out finding itself in the house!

Queen Eva and Jennie went crazy chasing it and Mazy cat hid.  I got the bat net and managed to trap the little thing and set it free outside, NOT in the porch!

Queen Eva is still looking for it! She's even calling it!

I had to pick up all the feathers, and of course it managed to poop while it was in here too, hahahaha!

Oh, that poor bird!  It must have been terrified!  And the girls . . . must have been thinking "SNACK!  Who ordered delivery?"   Silly7
