Adding fat to help with constipation
« on: June 14, 2017, 07:33:07 PM »
When people post about troubles with constipation in the Raw Feeding for IBD group, increasing fat to the diet is the first recommended solution.

The easiest way to do this of course is to add chicken or turkey skin.

I have had much success with this.  I have created a video showing how I add skin to increase fat content in a meal.

Your videos are always VERY helpful!  Thanks.
If I buy chicken from the local grocery store, I always buy boneless and skinless.  I may re-think that.  I have one that has troubles.  She gets a smidge less than an 1/8 tsp of Miralax once day.  I would prefer something natural.
