Crickets
« on: October 16, 2013, 08:52:12 PM »
I bought live crickets today.  Just 3. I wasn't sure what I would do with them, if the cats didn't have an interest.  Turning them loose outside didn't come to mind, at the time of my purchase.  Hey... it was a long night and an even longer day.  lol
Anyway, I put them in the bathtub.  Arrows, Roxy, and Lola played with them for a nano second and then ate them.  The crunching sound was a bit of an eww factor for me.

The others missed out.  I'll get more next time.

I assumed Arrows would be "in."  He eats anything....with gusto.  Roxy surprised me though.  She usually does not go for any kind of texture change.  Lola...I think she just went with the crowd.

tee hee...

We don't have to buy crickets, they are part of the landscape here.  When they manage to make their way into the house....  well, let's just say they don't last long.    ;D

There are critters that get in the house, from time to time... and are "goners" fairly quickly.

The PetCo near me sells them.  I didn't know it...until I over-heard a lady, in another line, asking for them.  I think I paid 10 cents a piece.
