Thanks Lola. Did you watch the video?

Yes.
is there ANY chance she was having whisker distress from eating out of a bowl?

There was something in her mouth.  You can see in the video how much it's bothering her, that's not whisker distress, she was in pain.

She loves the flat dish but whether the shallow bowls I use were causing whisker distress I don't know. I think they were not, UNTIL her mouth started hurting. When you've got a painful mouth, I can imagine that even touching your whiskers when trying to eat might hurt.

Really, those accolades should go to Mazy cat, isn't she just amazing?

Of course the little sterile tubes from the vet are much smaller than using an old pill bottle, but just for the sake of showing I didn't think it would matter...

Her follow up urinalysis was all okay by the way.

The accolades go to both of you.  Not every cat would be so trusting or cooperative.  The bond you two have is amazing.

Her follow up urinalysis was all okay by the way.

I have never tried to catch a urine sample from any furkid ever... I would never imagine that it was even sorta possible.  I am AMAZED!
Happy to hear Mazy's urinalysis was good.  :)
Is she back to her normal self?
