CatCentric.org is alive and kickin'!
« on: September 27, 2011, 10:34:22 PM »
And she's live, folks!! Go check her out!!! (CatCentric.org)

The first post has been uploaded and the About page is complete. The Resources and Raw Feeding pages have some content, including a list of pertinent scientific studies as well as the two articles I've written in reference raw feeding (including a very extensive description of the Frankenprey feeding method!). I will, hopefully, have both of these pages fully fleshed out by next Monday, including pics to accompany those articles, as well as a solid start (and maybe even a finish) to the Canned and Kibble pages.

Tomorrow's blog post is titled "Salmonella, e-Coli, and Toxoplasmosis, oh my!"  :D

There are no words to adequately describe my appreciation of Brandon's efforts in building this site. If it wasn't for him, CatCentric would still be nothing more than a twinkle in my eye.... thank you, THANK YOU, Brandon!

Soooo many people are fooled into believing the opposite of this truth:

My answer to the query, “Can you feed raw foods to a cat whose health is compromised in some manner?” is “Yes!” Cats are so finely-tuned for a diet of prey animals that it’s not only safe to put FIV+ cats on a raw diet, it’s vitally important to support their immune systems by feeding them the foods that are going to nourish their physiology at the highest levels.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, the latest edition of The Nutrient requirements of dogs and cats by the National Research Council (U.S.) Ad Hoc Committee on Dog and Cat Nutrition goes into great depth examining the complexities of the relationships between the cat’s digestive physiology and chemical workings and the foods it eats.....

Thank you.

I'm currently working on a discussion of carb/protein/fat amounts vs. calories, which I expect will be up tomorrow.

I'm following you on Twitter.  Kinda cool that it is encouraged to repeat (retweet) good stuff said!   Bumpurr1

I'm not much of a fan of FB, but I did take a peek.  Allen is GORGEOUS!   cat4
