Purrayers to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey
« on: August 29, 2017, 08:09:55 PM »
I meant to post this days ago.  Hugs and purrayers to all impacted by the storm.  May everyone (and their pets) get through it safe and sound.

I feel awful for everyone there. I really hope that all of the pets that have been rescued find their humans soon. The storm and flood were traumatic enough without them being traumatized by shelter environments too.

I just don't understand why people didn't take their families (and pets) and leave when they had quite a bit of warning that it was coming. I heard some of the people in Houston being rescued saying that they weren't told to leave. OMG. Why do people depend SO much on the government to tell them what to do? Was the past not enough of a lesson?
