Is there a way to use an "app" without an iphone, android or tablet? In other words, on a regular computer?
-
Depends if the app has been made to use on a computer. Some apps are iPhone only. Some are Android only. Some are both, and then some can be used in a regular browser online.
What are you wanting to use?

Not directly. However it is possible to download an emulator that will run Android OS on your computer, then you can run Android apps in there, on your computer. I'd looked into it once but the software they wanted me to install would interfere with some of my other operating system emulation software so I never went further with it.

Is that going to mess with anything else on my computer?

I dunno. I've never used it. I'd make sure I made a new restore point before doing it so I could go back if something went crazy.

If you go with one of the more complicated options, I might also recommend installing the data to an external hard drive to keep from cluttering up your boot drive.

You two are speaking Greek to me. I'm not that tech savvy. I'll just see if my sister can download the darn app on her very old iphone. I just had hoped to find another way.
Thanks for trying!
